Snowflakes!!!

This is a design from HearthSong that I have used for many years. Here's what you do:

1. Enlarge each design so it takes up 8"x8" so it is easy for little hands.

2. Get Vellum paper, (often sold by the piece or by a 20 piece pack), regular paper woks if finances are tight :)

3. If you have little grandchildren, far away, I would go ahead and trace the lines onto the vellum so all the have to do it cut!

4. For easy mailing , fold the papers so they are ready to cut and will fit in a standard envelope.

5. With baby mama ok, you can include glitter, stickers, whatever that they can decorate their snowflakes with before taping them to a window.

6. Mail with your love!

A PLACE TO CONNECT WITH OUR GRANDCHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE FAR AWAY

This site is designed for you to be able to print out different things and send them off to your grandchildren. One of the things I have found with my granddaughter and my special grandnieces and nephews that I like to write to, is that there is not much of a conversation, however, getting something in the mail every week shows a unique type of love. I have tried e-mailing activities for their parents to print out, but it is NOT the same, even to a 2 year old, than getting old fashioned, snail mail addressed to THEM.

There will also be ideas that you can recreate easily and inexpensively on your own. Many are  holiday themed. THere are a million more holidays than most people are aware of. Most posts will be my original artwork so as not to step on anyone's toes. Enjoy! and pass along to your friends!
